Outbound Email AUP Violations

What does AUP stand for?
Acceptable Usage Policy.

What are AUP Violations?

AUP Violations occur when you try to send out bulk mailings using our email server.

Why do we block some outgoing emails?
If a few of the emails that you send out get marked as spam (which generally when you are sending out bulk mailings, a few will) our email server starts to get a bad reputation, which could result in our email server getting blacklisted, and your regular outgoing mail getting marked as spam, which of course would have a direct effect on your company sending email, along with our other 850+ clients.

We hope you can appreciate, as we run a very high end email system we cannot allow ourselves to be exposed to this risk for the benefit of our clients.

What gets blocked?
There is an algorithm in place to block bulk mailings, we do not disclose any information on what will and what will not be blocked as this would undermine the point of having it in the first place. The point is, the main email system is a brilliant and reliable system, we don't want to tarnish its reputation, and have messages you send marked as spam.

So where do I go from here?

A lot of our client started asking us, so how do I just get my mailing out, and how can you help me get this done? This is when we started developing our Email Marketing solution, Toolkit Broadcast.

Toolkit Broadcast uses a different email server, which is built specifically for sending bulk emails, this ensures high rates of deliverability, and also enables us to offer you some great features, such as:
  • Trackable links
  • Personalised emails
  • Branded email templates
  • Contact list management
  • Online Message Builder
  • Full support
  • Integration with The Toolkit
If you would like any more information, by all means give us a call, we'd be more than happy to talk you through your requirements! 02380 633 644
