Change Members Password

If your website is using our Private Login Area upgrade then you will have access to the Members Area of the Toolkit where you can create and manage your websites users.

You may find that occasionally one of your members may forget their password. This guide will show you how to retrieve / change the passwords for your members.

1) Login to The Toolkit

2) Click on the Members Area link on the left hand side of The Toolkit.



3) This will bring up the Members Area page which will display a list of all the users currently on your website. You can use the links available to list them by letter, or use the Search Contacts box for a more specific search. Click the Name of the user you wish to change the password for.



4) This will open a new page displaying all the details for the user. To change the password, simply delete the contents of the Password box and type in your new password.



5) When you have finished, click Save Changes



6) This user will now be able to login with their new password.
