Adding a Podcast to Your Website
For a podcast, you need 2 things: Your xml file for your rss feed, and at least one mp3 file that you want to share.

You will need to upload your mp3 podcast files via the Toolkit files module. For best practice create a folder specifically for these in the Toolkit. You will need to know where these files reside as you need to specify their location in your XML file.

There are a number of applications and online services that will assist you in the creation of your podcast’s XML feed; you can even create one by hand using nothing but a text editor. Refer to those services or other documentation for the details of creating a feed. To find these applications try googling for 'xml feed create' or similar.

Once you have created your XML file you should upload it to the Toolkit via the files module. At this point you need to contact the support team who will move the file to the rss location folder.

Once this has been done your new Podcast link will be http://www.yourdomainname.co.uk/siterss/

Then you are ready to let people know about the Podcast. You can do this in numerous ways, simply have a link on your website to the XML file, email people with a link to the XML file, or submit it to itunes.

If you want to submit your podcast to itunes please read their guide here:
