| Cancellations Policy |
We understand that under certain circumstances you may need to cancel your Toolkit Websites account. We would like to do everything we can to keep you as a client of ours however, so please do not hesitate to call us on 02380 633 644 and discuss your situation first.
How do I cancel?
In order to give notice on your account please email us stating you wish to cancel and providing the required 3 months notice period.
Is there a notice period?
Yes . There is a 3 months notice period required. This will commence from the day that we receive your written confirmation that you would like to cancel your website.
Can I get a copy of my website?
Yes. we offer a backup copy of your website for £75.00 + VAT. This will be a .zip file containing an html version of your entire website including images and downloads.
What happens to my domain name?
We can transfer your domain name to your new hosting company. Please email us asking for us to update the IPS-TAG (.co.uk) or for the AUTH-CODE (.com) to be able to transfer your domain name.
If your domain name becomes due for renewal after your contract has expired then we will not renew your domain name. It is your responsibility to ensure that the domain name has been transferred to your new hosting company and that the name is renewed.
If you contact us to transfer your domain after your contract ends an administration charge of £25.00 + VAT will be applied.
If you do not plan to use your domain name then you need do nothing. We will not renew the domain name and it will simply lapse and become available again.
What happens to my E-mail?
If your email is hosted with us the mailbox will be removed upon you accounts termination. If wish to keep your email you will need to set this up with your new web host and ensure they have your mailbox setup and ready for the domain name transfer.
How can we improve?
We are constantly working on improving our systems and would ask that if there a reason behind cancelling your account you alert us. We can then improve our business with thanks to your feedback.
