How to send a HTML email
1) First check that a HTML email template has been set up for your website. To do this go to your website

address then add /siteemail/default.asp (e.g. greendesign.co.uk/siteemail/default.asp )
If you don't see a web page in your browser that has your websites colours / logo then create a support ticket, and one of the team will create one for you. (there is no cost to have a default template set up)

Subsequent templates can be requested at the normal hourly rate, e.g. if you wanted a christmas
themed template to send out to all your customers.

2) Login to The Toolkit

3) Click on the CONTACTS button on the left of the toolkit.

4) Click on "Newsletter".

5) In the "To" field click on appropriate email address or group.

You can only send to a mail to a group OR a number of individuals. You cannot send to both a mailing group and an individual. If you wish to send to a group click the check box next to the group you wish to send to.

Remember that the HTML email will only send to those contacts that have specified a HTML email (this is set by default when importing) otherwise if they will be sent a plain text version.

6) Type your email subject in the Subject box.

7) If you want to add a salutation at the beginning of the email check the salutation box. You email will then start "Dear firstname", if no first name is held in that database then your email to that person will start "Dear Sirs".

8) Choose the HTML template you want your email to be displayed in. A default template is provided when your order is first placed. IF you require a bespoke template for special occasion then create support ticket detailing your requirements, this work will be charged at our normal hourly rate.

9) In the email body box type your email content. To add pictures to your body content or to format the text use the two wizards located at the top of the body content box.

10) IF you want to add a standard signature that will be added to the bottom of your email fill in the signature field.

11) If you would like to attach files or images to your email a maximum of 5 can be added to your email using the five field at the bottom of the page. To attach images or files the images must have already been uploaded to the Tool kit in the Files and Images modules respectively.

12) When you are ready to send your email click the send button.
A confirmation page will load asking you to check the recipient details, attachments and salutation. If all is correct click the button to confirm.
