| How to import Contacts |
1) Create an Excel speadsheet of your contacts with the following columns.
Please Note ALL columns MUST be created in the excel speadsheet to ensure contacts are imported correctly. DO NOT create column headings in the first or any other row.
"Firstname","Surname","Email,","Telephone","Mobile","Fax","Occupation", "Company","Website","Address","City","Postcode","Country"
2) In Excel click FILE > SAVE AS
3) Ensure that you select CSV (comma delimited) from the SAVE AS TYPE drop down menu.
4) Browse to your desktop so the file will be easy to find.
5) Click SAVE
1) Login to The Toolkit
7) Click on the FILES button in the left hand menu ad then on "Upload Files".


8) Use the browse button to locate the CSV file o your desktop and click the UPLOAD button to send the CSV file to the server.

9) Once the file has been uploaded click on CONTACTS button in the left hand menu.

10) Click on the ADVANCED button in the left hand menu.

11) Click on IMPORT in the grey menu bar at the top of the Tool kit.

12) From the drop-down menu choose the mailing group you want to import the contacts into (if you want a new group click on the NEW GROUP button in the grey menu bar at the top of the Tollkit.).

13) From the second drop down menu choose from the list of files the CSV file you uploaded earlier.

14) Click the SUBMIT CONTACTS to start the upload of your contacts.

15) A confirmation page will be displayed. In it will be a list of your contacts laid out in a table. it is important to scroll through this table ensuring all the contact details are aligned correctly, if not you may have incorrectly configured your original spreadsheet so check that you have all the correct columns in the correct order. If the table is aligned correctly click the confirmation button at the top of the page to complete the import. Please Note depending on the amount of contacts there may be a delay whilst the server imports your contacts please be patient.
