How to Add a Link to a File in a Sidebar
The video below shows the process of How to Add a Link to a File in a Sidebar (click the button on the bottom right of the video to expand the view). You can also follow the screen shots and steps below this.

1) Login to The Toolkit

2) Click on 'Sidebars ' in the left hand menu.

3) Click on the sidebar you want to edit.

4) In the toolbar select "Insert Links". If you do not see a pop-up window, please make sure you have added 'https://www.thetoolkit.co.uk' as a safe site on any pop up blocking software you are running.

Then select "File".

5) In the new menu select the file you want to link to.

6) The code will be automatically generated in the page body.

7) Press "Save changes"

If you would not prefer to see the location of the file in the page (e.g. http://www.yourwebsite.com/yourfile.doc) all you need to do is add a description in the box (as seen in step 5). This will then show a clickable description instead of the file location.
