How Do I Empty my Cache?

What is a Cache?
Computers store copies of images from websites.  These are kept on your hard drive and loaded when you visit further pages on the same website.  This means you do not have to download the company logo for every page you visit.

How make sure I'm seeing the latest version of a web page?
The easiest way is to 'refresh' the page, which you can do as follows:
On a windows computer hold down CTRL and press F5
On a mac hold down Apple and press 'R'

If you are still not seeing the latest version of the page, try restarting your browsing software.
In rare circumstances you may need to restart your computer.

To empty you browser's cache using Microsoft Internet Explorer:
1. Click on Tools from your browser's main menu.
2. Select Internet Options
3. Under the General tab, click Delete Files... in the Temporary
4. Internet files section.
5. Important: Shutdown all open instances of your web browser.
