How to Edit a Table

The video below shows the process of edit a table (click the button on the bottom right of the video to expand the view). You can also follow the screen shots and steps below this.

1) Login to the Toolkit. https://www.thetoolkit.co.uk

2) Click on the 'Pages' button in the left hand side of the Toolkit.

3) Select the page you wish to edit

4) Click Show Tables in the wizard

5) A pop up box will appear to inform you that any changes you have made to the page will be saved before you move into Edit Table mode. If you do not see a pop-up window, please make sure you have added 'https://www.thetoolkit.co.uk' as a safe site on any pop up blocking software you are running.

6) The Table toolbar will appear in the wizard

7) Click on the Insert Table button on the far left hand side and a Table Wizard will drop down giving you options about the size of table you may require. Choose your desired table size and click in the box. The squares in the Table Wizard will highlight in blue to indicate the table size.

8) Right Click anywhere in the table, a list will come then click 'table' at the bottom of the list, then another table property box will come.

9) To add a border to the entire table, right click inside any of the cells and click 'Table' at the bottom of the list, then it will open up a pop-up box with various formatting options. Click on the last tab at the top of the box titled 'Style Builder'. Then click on border on the left hand side.

10) Then you should choose a border thickness either by choosing the number of pixels in width you want it, or by using a pre-set line thickness.
Then choose the style of the border - either a solid line, a dashed line, a bevelled line and so on. Finally, choose the colour of the border by using the drop down colour menu. Then click OK and Save Changes.
