How to link to a file in a page
The video below shows the process of adding a link to a file on a page (click the button on the bottom right of the video to expand the view). You can also follow the screen shots and steps below this.

1) Login to The Toolkit

2) Ensure you have uploaded the file you wish to link to in the Files module.

3) Click on pages button in the left hand side of the Toolkit.



4) Select the page you want to edit .



5) Click on the "Insert link" icon.



6) Choose "link to a file" in the pop-up menu that appears. If you do not see a pop-up window, please make sure you have added 'https://www.thetoolkit.co.uk' as a safe site on any pop up blocking software you are running.



7) Select the appropriate file from the drop-down and then type in your desired description / link text... e.g. "Click here to download our PDF..."


8) The code will be automatically generated in the page body.


9) Click on "Save changes" to save the changes.
